The Problem
Service marketplaces — from home repairs trough consulting, tourism or hand crafting to logistics — share the same core challenge: connecting requesters with providers through a transparent, comparable quote workflow. Building this from scratch for each vertical means duplicating payment integration, matching logic, verification systems, and real-time communication. There was no reusable foundation in the Golem15 ecosystem that could handle the full request-to-payment lifecycle out of the box.
Our Approach
We built Quotify.pro as a reference implementation of the complete quote marketplace pattern on the Golem15 stack. The Quotify plugin extends — but never modifies — existing stack plugins (PaymentGateway, User, Chat, Translate) through WinterCMS extension patterns, keeping all business logic portable. Key capabilities include: an event-driven quote lifecycle (post, match, quote, compare, accept, pay), AI-powered professional matching and price estimation via GPT-4o, multi-tier Stripe subscriptions with lead fee monetization, real-time WebSocket notifications, team accounts with shared inboxes, and full i18n support with browser locale detection. The entire system was delivered in 18 phases across two milestones using the GSD methodology.
The Outcome
A complete, working marketplace engine that proves the Golem15 stack can power any quote-based service portal. The architecture cleanly separates universal marketplace logic from domain-specific configuration — swap trade categories for consulting specialties or logistics services, and the same quote workflow, payment processing, AI matching, and review system applies. The plugin isolation pattern ensures every component built here feeds back into the stack for future projects.
